Robert @ The Daily Show with Jon Stewart!
Robert
Pattinson gives his first public interview since the cheating scandal involving
Kristen Stewart on The Daily Show with
Jon Stewart, which aired on Monday night (August 13).
“Welcome,
Twilight fans, this is a topical comedy show mostly dealing with politics and
the media.” Jon said at the opening of the show.
“I’m worried
about you. Is everything alright?” Jon asked Robert.
“Now I’m
going to sound like an idiot. But, like, my biggest problem in life is that I’m
cheap. I didn’t hire a publicist” Rob said. “And in every awkward interview,
normally actors get everything scripted. I’m going to hire a publicist.”
During the
interview, Jon brought out Ben and Jerry’s ice cream as a way to console
Robert.
“Don’t you
think? Listen, the last time I had a bad breakyp, Ben and Jerry got me throuht,”
Jon said. So I thought you and I could bond over this and talk about, ‘Boy, you
are better off. Kick her (Kristen) to the curb! Whatever.’”
Robert Rings Bell @ New York Stock Exchange!
Robert
Pattinson lets out a big smile while ringing the opening bell at the New York
Stock Exchange on Tuesday morning, 14th August in New York City.
Robert was
joined by his Cosmopolis director David Cronenberg.

Robert Pattinson @ Premiere Cosmopolis!
Robert
Pattinson makes his first public appearance since the cheating scandal
involving Kristen Stewart at the premiere of his film Cosmopolis on Monday, 13th
August at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
Robert
suited up in Gucci, the designer who created a signature look for Rob’s
character in the film! He was joined by his co-star Paul Giamatti.
Rob is set
to make many appearances this week to promote the film, in theaters August 17

Robert Pattinson Suffered 'Manic Attack' for 'Cosmopolis'
Robert
Pattinson continues his Cosmopolis promo tour with a photo call at the Thompson
Hotel on Monday the 4th of june in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Robert, who
has talked about suffering panic attacks before working on a new project, said
Cosmopolis was no different.
“I guess
that’s kind of my process now. I have to go through the motion of feeling I’m
going to have a heart attack for a while before”, he told reporters.

Robert
Pattinson participates in a Q&A session with his Cosmopolis director David
Cronenberg on Friday, the 1st of June at the Apple Store in London,
England.
“There’s a
book called ‘The Professionals,’ which is a new crime thriller that Rob has
read and really likes,” Twilight producer Wyck Godfrey recently told MTV News
about Owen Laukkanen’s debut novel.
“We’re just
starting to look at a writer (to adapt it). It’s kind of a ‘Bonnie and Clyde’
for today, and (Rob) would be fantastic in the role. It’s in the early days; we’ll
see,” he teased.

Robert
Pattinson and director David Cronenberg attend the Cosmopolis premiere on
Thursday, 31st May in Berlin, Germany.
The night
before, Robert was in Paris for the premiere.
“When there’s
people screaming outside, I’m like, ‘This is incredible.’ That people are
screaming for this, the most bizarre movie – it’s amazing,” Robert told the
Associated Press last week.
“I wasn’t
expecting anyone to get it,” he added. “Even at the Cannes Festival, I was
expecting everyone to walk out.”
